Welcome to Gilman. As you navigate our website, we hope that you will begin to get an idea of the many facets and faces of Gilman. First and foremost, we are a school dedicated to the education of the total boy – Mind, Body and Spirit. That was our mission in 1897 when the school was established, and we have never once varied from that goal. Through our rigorous academic program, our comprehensive athletic offerings, our strong arts programs, our promotion of community service and our commitment to building character, our mission is to develop young men into intelligent, compassionate and honorable citizens. We do our best to provide multiple opportunities for our students to reach beyond themselves, and we support them in their efforts. We assemble an outstanding faculty, a talented and diverse student body, and we do our best to build strong relationships with our boys in a vibrant, joyous and exciting environment.
