Application Procedure
Interested parents may call the Lower School Admissions Office for an application packet or print the forms from this website. The complete admissions packet includes an application form, a school recommendation form to be filled out by the applicant’s present school, a record release form, and information about financial aid.
Parents’ Financial Statement forms are available in October, online applications are available after November 15 at SSS Online. Please call the Financial Aid office if you need a copy.
Once the application form and a non-refundable $50 fee are received, the applicants will be assigned a testing date. Pre-first and first grade evaluations begin in November.
In order to be considered for admission, the Lower School must receive applications no later than January 9, 2009. First grade evaluations begin in November, Kindergarten/pre-first evaluations begin in January. Decisions by the Admissions Committee will be made and mailed by March 1, 2009. Contracts will be due by April 1, 2009.
The Lower School Admissions Director is available after March 1 to review applicant evaluations with interested parents.
