Dear Fellow Alumni,

This year promises to be an exciting one for your Gilman Alumni Association as we work hard to further the connection between alumni and the School. We look forward to leveraging the positive momentum from last year by continuing to sponsor our core events and programs:

  • Homecoming and Reunion Weekend (October 5-6, 2007)
  • Gilman Bull Roast (March 7, 2008)
  • Alumni/Faculty Banquet (May 2008)

Gilman is an important resource to you and to the Baltimore community. We look forward to seeing you at one of these events. If you can’t make it to one of these events, stay in touch through the Gilman website www.gilman.edu.

Your tax-deductible $25 contribution each year ($5 for young alumni) to the Alumni Association helps sponsor those core events and programs. Last year, we collected over $30,000 from 1,300 alumni. The majority of those funds went toward subsidizing alumni reunions. Thank you for your continued support.

In closing, the basis for the bond we share as alumni is Gilman’s philosophy:

            Gilman School is a diverse community dedicated to educating boys in mind, body, and spirit through particular emphasis on academic excellence, athletic participation, and aesthetic appreciation. Gilman seeks to produce men of character and integrity who have the skills and ability to make a positive contribution to the communities in which they live and work.
