The Gilman Fund
Annual Giving
Gilman boasts one of the strongest annual giving programs among independent schools in the country. (In fact, our participation levels often outstrip those of much larger sized institutions of higher education!)
Members of our community recognize that The Gilman Fund is the lifeblood of the School. The largely unrestricted funds raised through The Gilman Fund truly support the daily operations of the School. These important monies are vital because they can be used where they are most needed in the year that they are received, and they help to pay for those parts of the budget not covered by tuition revenue.
The Gilman Fund helps to attract and retain the finest faculty, supply educational programs with equipment and materials, purchase and maintain computers and other technologies preserve our 67-acre campus, and sustain our diverse student body.
Annual contributions to Gilman Fund ensure the excellence of a Gilman education. This year’s campaign began July 1, 2008, and will close on June 30, 2009. From class chairman to phonathon caller, alumni, parents, and grandparents comprise a team of volunteers that fuel the campaign.
