The Gilman Hockey Program prides itself on the ideals of team before self, preparation, and working to your full potential. Hockey is a unique sport where one person cannot dominate. Success is determined by all members of the squad executing a system to perfection. This is accomplished during practice where “we don’t stop when we get it right one time; we stop when we can’t get it wrong.” This leads us to be being prepared for every situation. In practice, we execute every system until we reach perfection. Finally, it is our expectation that every member of the hockey program: coaches, players, and managers work to their fullest potential every day on and off the ice.
