Securing Our Future

The Campaign for Gilman School, the largest such effort in our history, defines what excellence means to us: an education strong in character and leadership development that encourages young men to challenge themselves academically, artistically, and athletically. It means supporting a community rich in diversity and creating an environment where each individual—youth and adult alike—is valued, encouraged, and supported. Most critical at this moment in our history, it means providing students and teachers with facilities that offer the richest possible context for the relationships at the heart of the Gilman experience.

This is our moment to make a lasting impact on Gilman School, to demonstrate the same sense of character, leadership and commitment we expect of our boys.

  • Increase endowment to maintain the financial aid program: $5 million
  • Sustain the School’s annual giving program: $5 million

Message from the Co-Chairs

By raising $50 million through The Campaign for Gilman School, we will be able to provide the best possible environment for building boys in mind, body, and spirit. We will ensure Gilman’s ability to place our boys in relationships with wonderful teachers, and allow them to work together in the finest facilities we can provide. We will support a community rich in diversity and foster an environment where each individual—youth and adult alike—is valued, encouraged, and respected. This combination will ensure Gilman’s future as one of the nation’s leading independent schools.

Your support can make a lasting impact on the lives of students who are the future of Gilman School. It is critical that we give them the best possible setting for crafting a vision of what their lives can and should be. Then they will be ready to meet the complex demands of the modern world, and to lead lives of character, leadership, and commitment.

We invite you now to join with us.
