The health of the Gilman community depends on the strength of our financial aid resources. Maintaining a credible diversity means ensuring that the boys who attend Gilman not only reflect the potpourri of races and ethnicities in greater Baltimore, but also bring myriad talents and perspectives to our School.

We must take steps today to ensure that our financial aid program can meet increased demand for financial assistance from eligible families and continue to support our quest to truly represent our community. This campaign will move us toward a goal to ensure that all boys deserving of a Gilman preparation can learn and grow together.

Goal

$5 million for financial aid scholarships

I came to Gilman as an only child being raised by my mother and grandmother. I left with a band of brothers and several father figures. These were teachers and coaches who gladly took on the roles of male mentor and disciplinarian, shaping my entire life. Whatever I have achieved is due in large part to Gilman, and it would not have been possible without the help of financial aid.
