Gilman is pleased to welcome Sarah Ross as Director of College Counseling. She comes to Gilman from Kent School in Kent, Connecticut, where she served as Assistant Head of School for Enrollment and, prior to that role, was the Director of College Counseling. Beginning as a French teacher and holding various positions related to counseling, admissions, community relations, and multicultural affairs, Ross has worked in a variety of settings before Kent, including the Harvard Institute for International Development, Stanford University, and Trinity School in Menlo Park, CA.
"With each passing day, I grow more impressed with the intellectual vigor of Gilman, the brilliant faculty, as well as the students' scholarly capacity and strong spirit of engagement. I look forward to building on Gilman's great history of success," said Ross.
A Boston native, Ross holds a BA in French Language and Civilization from Middlebury College and an MA in Counseling from Lesley College. She is a graduate of Noble and Greenough School.
