Bring the whole family and participate in the first Service Saturday of the school year on September 23. We'll help harvest fresh produce at First Fruits Farm for delivery to area food banks.

What: Harvest fresh produce. Please bring a snack and a beverage.
Who: Open to the Gilman Community. Lower School students must be accompanied by a parent. Siblings are welcome. Service learning hours provided. Please bring a snack and a bottle of water.
Transportation: Participants should meet us at the farm. There are a small number of spaces available on the Gilman minibus for those who need transportation.The bus will depart Gilman at 8:10 a.m. and will return at approximately noon. Please arrive at Gilman at 8 a.m. if you plan to take the bus. The bus will depart from the Lower Parking Lot - Northern Parkway entrance.
First Fruits Farm, Inc. is a nonprofit ministry dedicated to growing fresh vegetables and fruit to help feed hungry people in our community. Since 2004, on over 100 acres of beautiful farmland and with help of hundreds of volunteers, the farm has provided over 6 million pounds of fresh produce to our brothers and sisters in need. In addition to produce, the farm also provides over 60 dozen eggs per week as well as beef to various shelters and food banks.
