Student Life
Student life at Gilman offers boys opportunities to explore many different areas of interest, each supporting the School's mission to educate boys in mind, body, and spirit. Aspiring journalists and creative writers may choose to work on the yearbook, the school newspaper, or the literary magazine. Students may develop leadership skills by scaling the Alpine Tower or through an outdoor education experience, or hone theatrical skills by hoofing it up in the spring musical. Extracurricular activities abound and meet virtually every interest a young man may have, from rock climbing to cooking to foreign language. On-going community service projects give boys the opportunity to learn while helping others and instill a sense of responsibility for society.
