What is your favorite spot on Gilman's campus?
The track. It's the place where our boys work their bodies to be stronger and faster. It's also the place where community members gather after school hours to do the same. Running is for everyone. 

What inspired you to become a teacher?
I was inspired to become a teacher when I took a senior elective in high school to be a teaching assistant with one of my former freshman teachers. Working with young minds and finding ways to feed their curiosities about our world was intellectually challenging and stimulating. I couldn't imagine a more engaging job.
