Before coming to Gilman as the Director of Development in 2019, Heather Harlan Warnack gained extensive experience in development work at Maryvale Preparatory School. At Maryvale, she held several positions, including Director of Communications and Marketing and Director of Communications and Development, before being appointed Assistant Head of School for Advancement. Prior to that time, Ms. Warnack spent significant time as a journalist and editor with the Baltimore Business Journal and The Press of Atlantic City.

She is a graduate of Roland Park Country School and Boston University where she received her Bachelor of Science in journalism. She is active in the local community by volunteering her time with Roland Park Baseball Leagues and the Second Presbyterian Church.
