Shreya Filardi
Shreya started at Gilman in the late spring of last year. Before joining us, Shreya was an Administrative Assistant at the Towson University Institute for Well-Being. In this role, she was responsible for managing client services and working directly with practitioners on ensuring high-quality care. Prior to that experience, she taught at Mergenthaler Vocational-Technical High School in Baltimore, and also completed her student teaching at Jackson County Comprehensive High School in Athens, Georgia. Shreya holds a Bachelor of Science in education with a concentration in world language education and Spanish education from the University of Georgia. She also holds a T-4 State of Georgia Teaching Certificate for Spanish Education (P-12). Her husband, Matt, teaches social studies in the Middle School. In their free time, they enjoy cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs, going on roadtrips, and being outdoors.
