Desvan received a Bachelor of Arts in mass communications from York College of Pennsylvania and a Master of Arts in school counseling from Loyola University Maryland. His most recent experiences are at KIPP Forward at KIPP Baltimore where he was the Associate Director, and prior to that role, Manager of College Persistence. Concurrently, he worked as a professional school counselor with the Baltimore County Public Schools. Prior to working at KIPP, Desvan worked at Baltimore City College as a college counselor and at Gettysburg College and York College as an admissions officer. In his free time, he enjoys reading, staying active, traveling, and exploring culinary arts. Desvan is also a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., where he continues to demonstrate his dedication to community service and advocacy.
