With a Master of Arts from Loyola University Maryland in curriculum and instruction for social justice and a Bachelor of Science from Towson University in English secondary education, Alasia comes to Gilman from St. Ignatius Loyola Academy, serving as a sixth and eighth grade language arts teacher. In addition, a self-proclaimed technophile, Alasia served as the Technology Coordinator as well, which involved her attending to infrastructure as well as instructional aspects of technology at St. Ignatius.
