With experience teaching physical education at the middle and high school levels and, most recently, working as a physical education teacher and head varsity football and track coach at Catonsville High School for six years, Jaren joins our athletic department. He holds a Bachelor of Science in physical education from Iowa Wesleyan University and a Master of Art in sports and recreational management from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. He holds a Maryland State Department of Education Certification in Physical Education and Special Education. Jaren's work with students extends beyond the playing field as he has extensive experience with player development for college and established two after-school mentoring clubs: one for male students and one for South Asian students.
