Q&A
What is your favorite spot on campus?
On the Harris Terrace, overlooking the athletic fields, on a crisp autumn day, Sotir Stadium packed with fans, with hopefully a Gilman-over-McDonogh outcome on the Brown Field scoreboard.
Why do you enjoy teaching at Gilman?
I have enjoyed teaching Middle and Upper School boys over last two decades because they are impressionable, eager, and you never know what they are going to say and do, which keeps us on our toes as faculty and coaches!
What inspired you to become a teacher?
My decision to become a teacher initially was driven by a desire to follow in the shoes of mentor faculty members who inspired me as a student in the classroom and on the athletic fields. My continued passion for teaching is fueled by the curiosity of our students and the excellence of our faculty, which are daily inspirations to me and reminders of our school's great community of people.
