Q&A
What was your best teaching moment?
The highlight of my year is often the Senior Retreat where Gilman Seniors allow themselves to really open up and vulnerably explore what led them to this moment in their lives and what comes next as they build on the foundation of their Gilman experience.
What is your favorite spot on Gilman's campus?
I love the dining hall — not just for the great food, but as a place to counsel and support boys in a less formal setting.
Why do you enjoy teaching at Gilman?
Spending my life and career working in boys schools, there is a unique chemistry in the all boys environment where boys can grow and develop with more freedom and openness.
What inspired you to become a teacher?
The model of other great teachers in high school and college inspired me to be a teacher.
