Aaron Goldman

Aaron Goldman began teaching at Kennedy Krieger Institute in 1999. After serving as a lead teacher he arrived at Gilman in 2004 to teach Religion to Gilman freshmen and has served as an interscholastic coach at various levels for both baseball and soccer, and he is now part of the intramural program. Currently, Mr. Goldman serves as one of two deans of students for the Upper School as well as teaches several semester-long history electives.
What is your favorite spot on Gilman's campus?
The Harris Terrace overlooking Sotir Stadium and watching the boys play at before school, at lunch, or more formally at sporting events.
Why do you enjoy teaching at Gilman?
The values of the school align with my own personal values. Being part of the Gilman community has made me a better person and I hope that I have made some of the students a little better too.
What inspired you to become a teacher?
Teaching is the rare job that can directly impact young peoples lives and ideally bring out the best in people.
