Nearly 50 Gilman alumni united for networking breakfasts in Baltimore and New York in late June. The annual events dedicated to introducing more recent graduates to other alumni working in their field of interest offered a robust panel discussion followed by ample time for individual networking.

Close to 100 family and friends, Gilman alumni, and Gilman faculty and staff (both retired and current), gathered together to celebrate longtime English teacher and drama director A. J. “Jerry” Downs PP, GP’28 at his 100th birthday party on June 22. The party's program included remarks from several of his former students, including David Hess ’82 and Stan Heuisler ’60.

On Thursday, March 28, 10 alumni in the Denver area gathered to reconnect, reminisce, and learn more about the Gilman of today.

In a programmatic first, Gilman basketball alumni joined the current varsity team for dinner on its last practice day of the 2023-2024 season. The event brought together the students and coaches with a dozen alumni representing several eras of Greyhound hoops, building bonds and swapping tales of treasured memories.

Twenty wrestling alumni returned to campus to witness the current wrestling Hounds secure the 2023-2024 MIAA A Conference Dual Meet Championship title when they defeated McDonogh 66-12 in the battle for the Worthington Cup. Before watching the victory unfold, the group gathered in the McCarthy Room for a reception and to reminisce about their days as Gilman grapplers.
