Welcome Back, Alumni!

Welcome Back!

Here we celebrate the School's outcomes and cherish the common ground that serves as a throughline for generations of alumni. Recap: Wall Street 101

Seventeen Upper School students visited with professionals working in Baltimore, many of them Gilman alumni, during a reimagined Wall Street 101 experience — an annual daylong immersion into careers in finance — in early April. David Dardis P’27 and his colleague welcomed the boys to Constellation Energy for the morning, speaking to the group before walking them through the trading floor. Later in the day, alumni Garrett Paglia ’11, Geoff Carey ’80, Mike Poggi ’99, and Christian Hall ’09, all of Brown Advisory, participated in a robust panel discussion with the students before opening up the floor to questions.

Recap: Blue-Gray Weekend 2024

Droves of Gilman alumni returned to campus during Blue-Gray Weekend 2024 for two days of nonstop reconnection and excitement, Nov. 1-2. The Gilman Black Alumni Society (GBAS) gathered on Friday afternoon for a cocktail reception before joining nearly 500 Gilman faculty, staff, parents, and alumni in the Redmond C. S. Finney Center arena for the Bull & Oyster Roast. On Saturday, members of six championship football teams enjoyed lunch under a tent on Harris Terrace before taking the field at halftime of the annual Gilman-McDonogh showdown to be honored and recognized on the anniversary of their titles. Thank you to the hundreds of alumni who came out to toast Gilman and cheer on the Blue and Gray!
