Gilman wins first place for Best Middle School for HackTrin

Team Fire Typers' members Nicholas G. '27 and Arjun H. '27 participated and won first place for “Best Overall Middle School Application” in this year's HackTrin, the eighth iteration of the hackathon coding competition offered through Trinity School in New York. Students were tasked with coding a website or app that helps people with disabilities. After a day of coding tutoring in the Java language, they created a website that teaches people sign language.

Join the Gilman community in congratulating Nicholas G. '27 and Arjun H. '27 on this great accomplishment.
