Starting Up

Three teams of budding entrepreneurs took the stage to pitch their business ideas to a panel of alumni “sharks,” including Jonathan Cooper ‘98, Charlie Moore ‘76, and Terrance Whitehead ‘95 at the Demo Day for the spring course, Entrepreneurship: The Startup Experience. Their business ideas included an app providing food delivery at airports, a snow removal system focused on the elderly, and a clothing rental service for high school and college students. These current juniors were guided through the process of ideation, business planning, and pitching their concept by a team of alumni and parent mentors, including Josh Levinson ‘89, Mark Neumann ‘81, Justin Shelby P’20 & ‘22, Eno Umoh ‘04, Tom Washburn ‘85, and David Zinreich ‘94.
