Redwood Makes His Mark on World Lacrosse

When the FIL World Lacrosse Championships open in July, Gilman will be well-represented. In addition to Marcus Holman '09, who will suit up for Team USA, his former teammate Evan Redwood '08 will take the field for Team Jamaica. Jamaica will be making its first-ever appearance on lacrosse's biggest stage, and Redwood has played a vital role in establishing lacrosse on the island nation by recruiting players, hosting clinics, setting up youth leagues, securing equipment, and raising much-needed funds. Excellence in Ophthalmology

Dr. Suber Huang '76, president and founder of The Retina Center of Ohio in South Euclid, OH, is the 2018 recipient of the prestigious Jose Rizal International Medal from the Asia Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO). The Jose Rizal Medal is given to an outstanding ophthalmologist who has demonstrated excellence in ophthalmology in the Asia-Pacific region. It is the organization's highest recognition for contributions to education and clinical care.
