After School Programs
At Gilman, we continue to help boys channel their natural energy, curiosity, and exuberance beyond the last bell of the day through our After School Programs, which are integral to our mission to educate our boys in mind, body, and spirit.
With both structured and unstructured offerings, all under supervision, participation in Gilman's After School Programs are available on both regular and drop-in bases.
Please note that we have moved to a new registration system, which cannot yet display a single set price for the number of options we provide, so it incorrectly shows each program as free. Please note that most of Gilman's After School Programs are not free. Please see the pricing and policies for each program below. After School Program enrollment fees will be charged to your son's Gilman account, and a notification will be sent to your email. Balances are due at the end of each month.

After School Program (ASP) for Grades PK–5
After School Program (ASP) serves students in Gilman's Lower School and includes a snack and time for homework completion. Weather permitting, boys enjoy outdoor play, and there are numerous indoor games and activities as well.
There are two options for scheduling a boy's days and/or hours of participation in ASP.
- Boys may participate on a regular, contracted basis where they attend for the same number of days and times week-to-week.
- Boys may participate on a drop-in basis after the contract deadline. Approval is contingent on space.
How to Schedule a Drop-In
Please let us know when your son should attend ASP by emailing three addresses — your child's homeroom teacher, ttemple@gilman.edu,
We know that ASP is a vital service for many Gilman families! Please note that ASP is at a high capacity, and drop-ins should be childcare need-based (not playdates).
