After School Music Program (ASMP)

Open to students in grades K–12

Gilman's After School Music Program (ASMP) currently provides private individual instrumental instruction for around 140 students across all divisions. The most popular instruments currently are piano and guitar, but students also are studying the violin, drums, and wind and brass instruments.

Instruction by grade level currently includes:

  • Open to All Grades Beginning with Kindergarten: Piano, Violin, Viola, and Harp
  • Open to Grades 3 and Up: Guitar, Drums, and Percussion
  • Open to Grades 5 and Up: Trumpet, Trombone, Tuba, French Horn, Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute, Oboe, and Bassoon
