Clubs and Extracurricular Activities

Who says learning stops when the school day ends? As their interests expand and change, boys in Lower School benefit from the various after-school enrichment activities available each season. Many students take the opportunity to try new things or explore their favorite activities at a deeper level.

The Middle School offers a wide variety of clubs designed to spark curiosity and support a broad range of student interests. Whether they’re diving into strategy with the chess or fantasy football clubs, exploring storytelling through podcasting or comic book clubs, expressing creativity in the art club, or learning real-world skills in the investing club or Student Council, there’s something for everyone. Musical groups like Bell Choir, Middlemen (singers), and Jazz Ensemble provide avenues to collaborate, perform, and grow as musicians. These opportunities allow boys to explore their passions, collaborate with peers, and develop new talents outside the classroom.

Gilman students are curious and engaged. Involvement in more than 60 student clubs and a wide variety of activities outside of the classroom keep the campus lively.
