Alumni Giving
Giving the Gilman Experience to the Next Generation
As a former Gilman teacher and current President of the Alumni Association Board of Governors, I have gotten to see from several different angles the impact that the Gilman experience can have on the course of a young man's life. And, whether you graduated five years ago or 50, it seems likely that these memories, relationships, skills, and education remain with you.
As Gilman alumni, we have been taught to pursue excellence in all aspects of our lives, and students of today are following in our footsteps. They are being challenged in academics, athletics, and the arts, and to become men of character who make a positive impact in the communities in which they live and will one day work.
Each year, The Gilman Fund accounts for nearly 10% of the School's operating budget. And, it speaks volumes that the support of generous alumni annually accounts for the most significant portion of this effort. Our contributions ensure that a Gilman education remains accessible for every student and continues a long, proud tradition of alumni supporting future generations of Gilman men. I ask that you join me in making sure students of today and tomorrow have the same opportunities that we did.
