Parent Giving

For parents of current students, gifts to The Gilman Fund translate into real-time benefits for their sons every day.

Parent support of The Gilman Fund shapes the excellent education that inspires each of your sons to be his best self. The Gilman Fund is a mission-critical source of revenue for the School that provides the flexible, immediate support necessary to offer students the enriching experiences that define Gilman. It funds vibrant arts, music, and athletics programs and extends academic programming. It ensures access to scholarships for well-deserving young men. As a parent, your gift helps feed the School's greatness every day.

Senior Family Giving

Gilman has a long history of senior families making a special gift to The Gilman Fund in honor of their sons’ or grandsons' graduation.

Giving Where It Matters Most

An unrestricted gift, or one that can be distributed to the area of greatest need, is Gilman's highest fundraising priority. Unrestricted gifts generate revenue to support important initiatives or affect changes that have an immediate benefit to the boys and teachers/coaches.

You may also specify a designation when you make a gift to The Gilman Fund, such as faculty support, financial aid, Art or Athletic Departments, or the Lower, Middle, or Upper School.

Leadership Giving

The Founders' Society recognizes donors who give a total of $2,500 or more to Gilman in one fiscal year in one of five recognition levels.
