Volunteering at Gilman
Mandatory Volunteer Application Process and Training Program
Welcome to volunteering at Gilman! As part of our ongoing commitment to student safety and family engagement at Gilman, our program has a required volunteer application and training program.
We encourage everyone who thinks they may want to volunteer at Gilman to complete the application at the beginning of the school year. All volunteers, whether short-term, long-term, or those who volunteer for a one-time project or event, must complete the application process before volunteering.

Volunteer Application Process for New and Returning Volunteers
Who is a Volunteer?
Gilman volunteers are folks who give their time and talent to our community. Our volunteers include Parents Association members, affinity group members, library helpers, team parents or other athletic-related volunteers, and field trip chaperones, just to name a few. This also includes volunteers who help out for a one-time event or classroom activity.
