On Friday, September 20, former Gilman former football players from the 1960s through the 2010s returned to campus to take in a pre-game practice, share a bar-b-que dinner with this year's Greyhounds, and speak with Head Coach Nick Bach. As the team practiced on Brown Field, the alumni watched from Sotir Stadium and reconnected with one another. After practice, the boys joined the alums on Harris Terrace. Once everyone had piled their plates high with food, Malcolm Ruff '02, who played collegiately at Duke University, talked to the team about the proud tradition of Gilman football, the deep bonds forged on the gridiron, and the incredible support this year's team has within the alumni base and beyond. When he wrapped up, Coach Bach sent the boys home and stayed to speak with the alumni about the state of the program.
