Palm Beach Gathering

On a typically lovely Palm Beach afternoon, 15 Gilman alumni, family, and friends gathered at The Colony Hotel for a luncheon hosted by Bill Beatson '59. While enjoying a delightful spread of sandwiches and salads, the group heard from Headmaster Henry P. A. Smyth, who updated them on the overall strength of the school, the fall opening of the new Pre-K, the roll-out of the new strategic plan, and the undertaking of a campus master plan, before leading a lively discussion on the role that the arts play at Gilman today. Plans are already in the works for a similar event next year, and the group hopes that even more Gilman family and friends will join the fun.
