Tom Waxter '82, a partner at the Baltimore-based law firm Goodell DeVries, has been honored with the Most Valuable Partner Award by Maryland Legal Aid's (MLA) Equal Justice Council (EJC). The award recognizes Tom's outstanding leadership and steadfast commitment to ensuring access to justice for economically disadvantaged Marylanders. Tom accepted the award at the 23rd Equal Justice Awards Breakfast on October 13, 2022.
The EJC actively promotes equal access to justice for Marylanders by increasing and diversifying MLA's resources and serving as ambassadors on behalf of Maryland Legal Aid. Tom is a member of Goodell DeVries's Product Liability team and focuses on asbestos litigation defense. He has also served on defense teams representing manufacturers of medical equipment in product liability cases.
