May 2023

The most interesting thing in our family this past year was my wife Bonnie's participation in buying a B&B. The River House Inn is an impressive three-story Victorian home built in 1865, located in the old town of Snow Hill (begun in 1680s), 12 miles from Salisbury and 15 miles from Ocean City. The inn sits on 2.5 acres on the Pocomoke River, with a pool and three cottages. It is being renewed and will open in late May. I will spend much of the season there, Bonnie most of it. I have no official role but Bonnie is eager to have me on hand and I will enjoy being there and being helpful where I can. We hope friends will be coming down!

Much of our year is mixing with the family and eight grand kids (ages 4-17). We usually do one or two visits to Ocean City and the kids love all the activity, and lots of Christmas visiting with lots of presents, opened fast. I plan to keep driving my Jaguar convertible.
