2021

We have gotten through COVID with minimal inconvenience due to choosing an RV lifestyle years ago. We spent the winter in Florida and the summer in Maine, being just as safe as if we had been at home (Roanoke, Virginia). Only outdoor restaurants and no hotels. Now vaccinated, we’re getting more relaxed about most activities. Our daughter got married in 2020 in a family-only backyard ceremony, and we now have a delightful baby granddaughter. She was worth the wait! Also, our daughter is teaching at Gilman, which is most gratifying. For those interested in electric cars, I strongly recommend Teslas. I’ve had mine for three years and cannot fully describe the benefits and sheer enjoyment of the car. Don’t test drive one unless you are prepared to buy it! To maximize the benefits of owning the car, we installed solar panels on our house and use clean energy to charge it. During a horrific time for the world, we’ve been very fortunate to be able to make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear!
