Because of word limitations I learned of at the last minute, I would have included from Chuck Newhall’s preceding response: “Loved Jake’s great book, a must read for all interested in remembering times gone with the wind.” It’s a memoir entitled “Is this Your Idea of a Joke,” which I’m doing nothing to promote. That’s because I did it for myself to improve on my writing skills and try to make sense of my life. Despite minimal royalties, it has led to wonderful work ghostwriting memoirs in a lucrative market.
