Jay Brooks is in his first year in med school at New York City’s Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where he is getting his MD and Master’s in Public Health. He is hoping to go into emergency medicine and get back to the DC/Annapolis/Baltimore area for residency. He recently concluded a year teaching at Gilman, where he created a class called “Perspectives in Modern War.” He turned this experience into a book and has found a publisher who will make it available in spring/summer 2022.
