John Redwood III '64

2023

John Redwood continues consulting “part time” for the World Bank (forest project evaluation for Liberia) and the Asian Development Bank (urban development sector evaluation for India), but his main job this spring is helping to advise the CEO of the Global Environment Facility (GEF) — which presently has some $7B to allocate over the next four years for biodiversity conservation and climate change mitigation and adaptation, among other global environmental challenges — on the restructuring of its Secretariat as part of team on behalf of the Centennial Group in Washington. Wife Lúcia recently visited her family in Brazil, Professor André is finalizing his book on the 17th century French polymath Marin Mersenne, and grandniece Victoria is heading to George Mason University next fall to study nursing.
