Indoor Track Athletes Compete at Nike Indoor Nationals

The Greyhounds had a big weekend at the Nike Indoor Nationals, March 10–12.

  • Cam Brown '25 finished 19th out of 26 competitors in the Championship Long Jump with a leap of 21' 0". On the season, he is ranked 38th in the country in this event and third among sophomores.
  • The 4 x 400m team of Jamel Williams '23, John Collison '24, Noah Parker '23, and Triston Hinds '23 finished 12th out of 27 teams in the Emerging Elite division with a time of 3:31.32. They are the first group in Gilman history to run this race at nationals.
  • Ryan Coleman '24 finished 18th out of 30 competitors in the Emerging Elite Triple Jump with a leap of 42' 1.25".
  • Jemmel Green '25 qualified for the Emerging Elite Mile for both New Balance and Nike Indoor Nationals. (He did not run due to an injured ankle.) He is ranked 27th among sophomores in the country in the mile.
