2025 Alumni Lacrosse Game

Written by Assistant Varsity Head Coach Kevin W. Hudson

Another post-Thanksgiving Alumni Lacrosse Game is in the books! This fun tradition yet again resulted in an amazing turnout. The temperatures dropped — as they always do — but the sun was out. The competition on Brown Field was fierce. Yet in the end, the Gray team brought home the hardware with a 10-7 victory over the Blue team.

The game told a story of two distinct teams: Gray dominated from their midfield and Blue from their attack. For Gray, Piper Bond ’18 had three goals; Logan Paff ’19 had two; Pierce Washburn ’20 had two; and Johnny Shapiro ’17 had two. Matt Feola ’25 rounded out the scoring with a behind-the-back (BTB) goal. Jack Tortolani ’20 had two assists, while Chris Walsch ’13, Austin Hudson ’17, and Matt Feola ’25 each had one. The Blue squad was a reunion of the “dream team” that took the Hounds to the MIAA A-Conference semifinals in 2024. Jay Wilkerson ’24 tallied two goals and two assists. Michael Maloney ’24 had a hat trick — three goals — plus an assist. Clayton Baddley ’24 registered a goal and two assists. James Meyer ’24 (one goal) was the lone midfield scorer. Thank you to the goalkeepers, Zach Parks ’25 and Logan Gordon ’28, representing each team, for playing well in the cold and windy conditions.

A special thank you to Ned Emala ’13 for setting up and breaking down the field, and to Dan Muhly PP’13 for officiating. And also to those who donated prizes for our upcoming BINGO night, which sold out two weeks ago!

We had a great time catching up with our alums! Please stay in touch. Please come out and support the Hounds if you are in town during a varsity home game this spring. You are legends to our current players.
