Booker ’18 Receives Craig Long Award
Thomas Booker IV ’18, a defensive lineman with the Las Vegas Raiders, was named the 2025 recipient of the team’s Craig Long Award, presented annually to the player who best exemplifies professionalism and collaboration with the media at large.
A select group of local media, supported by the Las Vegas Raiders' Communications department, chooses the recipient, and the award is presented each year by the president of the Las Vegas chapter of the Pro Football Writers of America (PFWA). The award is named for Craig Long, a member of the Raiders' Public Relations staff from 1997-2004, who passed away in 2007 at the age of 36.
Booker IV completed his first season with the Raiders after being acquired from the Philadelphia Eagles in a trade during training camp. He appeared in all 17 games and finished the season with 44 tackles (16 solo), one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and five passes defensed. He is the fourth defensive lineman to receive the Craig Long Award, and the first since teammate Maxx Crosby earned the honor in 2021.
