King ’20 and Holman ’09 Named PLL All-Stars
Sam King ’20 and Marcus Holman ’09 were selected to play in the 2025 Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) all-star game, which took place on July 5 in Kansas City.
King, a midfielder for the Utah Archers, was named a starter for the Western Conference team. King is amidst a breakthrough rookie season, having only been drafted by Utah in early May after a standout career at Harvard. He has tallied 11 points in just five games.
Holman, an attackman for the Boston Cannons, was named a reserve for the Eastern Conference team. The selection marked Holman’s 11th all-star appearance across a stellar 13-year career. He has scored 10 points in the first five matches of the 2025 campaign while serving as one of his squad’s co-captains.
The Western Conference team held on for a 15-13 victory over their Eastern Conference foes, with Holman contributing two goals of the two-point variety to help secure the victory.
