The All-American Athletic Conference (AAC) recently released its slate of all-conference football teams — four all-star squads selected by a vote of the league's 14 head coaches. One third-team honoree was Rayuan Lane '21, a junior free safety for the Naval Academy. Lane was a standout on Navy's defensive unit, ranking first in pass breakups (7), tied for first in interceptions (4), second in solo tackles (40), and third in total tackles (62). His 97-yard interception return for a touchdown against the University of Alabama-Birmingham was the longest in Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium history and the second-longest in Naval Academy football history.
