NYC-Based Firm Acquires Hunt Valley Company Co-Founded by Wight '89
Martin/Wight & Company, LLC (M&W), an insurance and financial services firm led by co-founders and managing partners Ted Wight '89, PP and Brian Martin PP, was recently acquired by New York City-based Lenox Advisors, Inc. Lenox is a wholly owned subsidiary of NFP Corp., a financial services holding company owned by Aon, and is one of the largest executive benefits planners in the United States.

Martin and Wight will join Lenox Advisors as partners and will retain the rest of their 17-person team based in Hunt Valley. On its website, Lenox describes M&W as “a Maryland-based firm that excels in providing financial solutions for medical professionals.”

The Lenox press release offers an enthusiastic assessment from President Greg Large: "The M&W team has an excellent reputation in the greater Baltimore area and across the medical profession nationally. We will gain from their relationships and expertise; they will benefit from access to a new level of resources and support, and their clients will draw on an expanded portfolio of solutions."
