2025-2026 PA President Kindle Samuel
I am a Baltimore native and Bryn Mawr School graduate of the Class of 1994. I'm also mom to Desmond ’27 and Solomon ’28, as well as an energetic Newfypoo, Kinga. My sons have been very involved during their time at Gilman, from interscholastic sports and tri-school plays and concerts, to Bible study and CIE Counsel. Through the global travel program, they have many countries. They have had a rich and fulfilling experience, one that is representative of what Gilman has to offer and the caliber of men it seeks to produce.
I'm an entrepreneur and founder and CEO of impathi, a digital healthcare company dedicated to supporting families through their end-of-life journeys. I volunteer with Samuel Ready Scholarships, Baltimore Greenspace, and Messiah Christian Community Church. I enjoy taking long walks and connecting with nature. I recently became a TreeKeeper to help build and protect the very important tree canopy in our city! I love to be in the kitchen and with my family. When I can sit, I do so with tea to read for a while; it makes me incredibly happy.
Volunteering as the CIE Parent Representative, I worked closely with Assistant Head of School for CIE Mike Molina to shape programming aimed at truly reaching and engaging the entire Gilman community. In this role, I was also a member of the Board CIE Committee, where I was able to meet with Trustees and school leadership, as well as with student leaders. Engaging with the students, hearing their voices, and learning from their perspectives was deeply meaningful and served the school well.
I look forward to building our parent volunteer pipeline. There are so many ways parents and caregivers can be engaged. This year, the PA has made it a goal to better articulate the diversity of opportunities — whether you are a new family or you’ve been here for years — so that more families feel even more deeply connected to the Gilman community!
