Sutton '15 Named Head Tennis Coach at Dickinson College
Dickinson College selected Cole Sutton '15 as its next head coach of men’s and women’s tennis. Dickinson — a small liberal arts college located in Carlisle, Pennsylvania — competes in NCAA Division III sports as a member of the Centennial Conference.
Sutton takes over at Dickinson after a two-year stint as an assistant coach for men’s and women’s tennis at Loyola University of Maryland. He was instrumental in directing Loyola’s daily operations by organizing practices and individualized training sessions. He led recruiting efforts and succeeded in attracting top student-athletes to Loyola. His influence helped yield Patriot League playoff appearances for both programs, including the highest-ever seeding for the women's team in the 2024 playoffs.
Sutton served as the assistant coach at Gilman before his tenure at Loyola. He helped guide the varsity team to back-to-back MIAA titles in 2021 and 2022.
