Jason Sutton '23 Wins Creative Writing Scholarship

Jason Sutton '23 was selected as a recipient of a Creative Writing Scholarship from the National Society for High School Scholars.

Jason's poem, “Geysers of Yellowstone,” was written during his sophomore year. Entries are judged on creativity, technique, expression, and originality. Jason thanks his English teacher Patrick Hastings for his support, and says he could not have made this achievement without his Gilman education.
