Mini Concerts, Tiny Instruments, Big Smiles, and Vibrant Sounds
Science teacher Mike Wallace, also known as Coach Wally, joined sixth grader Asad to kick off a new series of mini concerts in the Walter Lord Library on Tuesday, February 8. These intimate concerts, modeled after NPR’s “Tiny Desk Concerts,” offer Middle School students the opportunity to play and hear live music after lunch.
The harmonica-playing duo calls themselves the Flashlight Brothers, a name that is said with a dramatic flash of light provided by their flashlights, drawing enthusiastic applause from the live studio audience of middle schoolers.
