Five Upper School students and one Middle School student represented Gilman at this summer's U.S. Youth Soccer (USYS) National Soccer Championship:

• Sean Broadbent '27

These students were integral parts of the 2005 and 2007 Soccer Association of Columbia (SAC)/Baltimore Armour Pre-Academy teams to advance to the championship held in Orlando in mid-July. From an original pool of over 10,000 teams, their respective squads were each one of sixteen teams that qualified to compete for the title for their age groups.
