Bring the whole family, participate in the first Service Saturday of the 2021–2022 school year, and help harvest fresh produce for delivery to Maryland and Pennsylvania food banks.

What: Harvest fresh produce
Who: This activity is open to the entire Gilman Community as well as siblings and parents. A parent must accompany Lower School students. Gilman Middle School participants will earn service-learning hours. Please bring a snack and a bottle of water.
First Fruits Farm, Inc. is a nonprofit Christian ministry dedicated to providing fresh, nutritious produce to those experiencing hunger in the Mid-Atlantic region. Since 1998, thousands of area volunteers have helped harvest more than 18 million pounds of fruits and vegetables to share with local food banks, homeless shelters, soup kitchens, and other food providers.
