How will you serve? Join the Gilman community on Saturday, Jan. 19 for a Day of Service. Choose from one of several service activities. Middle School boys will earn credit for community service hours. Register for Service Saturday.

Create a Bowl

9:00 - 10:30 a.m., Middle School Science Room
Help fight hunger and support Empty Bowls Baltimore (St. Vincent de Paul) with your hand-painted creation. Your ceramic bowl will be fired then transported to the Empty Bowls event in March. Bowls sold at the event support St. Vincent de Paul's efforts to serve those who are hungry and homeless in our community.
This activity is open to all and is ideal for Lower and Middle School students. Lower School students must have a parent chaperone. 

Admission: Support the school's program by donating one jar each of creamy peanut butter and of grape jelly​. Register.

Lunches for Weinberg Housing and Resource Center

9:00 – 11:00 a.m, Middle School Art Room
Help make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and bag with a snack and beverage to be donated to Weinberg Housing and Resource Center.
Open to all (Ideal for Lower, Middle and Upper School students).
Lower School students must have a parent chaperone.

Operation Gratitude - Service Mixer with Bryn Mawr Middle School

10 a.m. – 11 a.m., Middle School rooms 123 and 124
“Say thank you to all who serve.” Write a letter to a deployed member of the military, a veteran, a new recruit, or a first responder to express your gratitude for their service.

Open to all; ideal for Middle School students from Bryn Mawr and Gilman Schools. Lower School students must have a parent chaperone.
